Why does the Bitcoin (BTC) need to function as currency exchange speculation? (I am referring to the bitstamp.net site that is profit or loss buying and selling Bitcoin).

Of course the trading relationships between Bitcoin and government currencies must come into play to actually buy into the bitstamp trading. This is the means that pegs the world price of the Bitcoin as a currency. In other words, purchasing Bitcoin with another currency is subject to the vagrancy’s of exchange rate prices.

However not unlike all the other world currencies the Bitcoin is also manipulated for greed by trading speculators on the bitstamp.net exchange. What’s to stop corporations from purchasing Bitcoin billions and trading them on the bitstamp exchange?

Correct me if I am misled, but aren’t some Bitstamp clients acting just like the criminal banking cartels?
